The Person Who Makes The Biggest Difference Are The Ones Who Do The Little Things Consistently
You don't have to be #sustainablegoals to help the world. We are facing huge climate changes and plastic pollution. Millions of animals are dying every day, 17.6 billion plastic is thrown away each year. By 2050 or plastic consume will increase by 40%
The world we see today may not be like that tomorrow.
WORKSHEET here
1. EDUCATE YOURSELF
Locally
Search your recycle programs and inform where the waste of your town is going
About Your Garbage
Empty your trash and separate it and see where most of your waste is coming from.

2. REUSABLE WATER BOTTLES AND COFFEE CUPS
Just by using 1 reusable bottle you are saving 167 plastic one by your side.
1.5 billion bottles are thrown away every day, only 20% is recycled and 24 billion liters of oil are used in production.
More than 60 million go to landfills each year. A plastic bottle takes 450-500 years to break down.
Just by using one reusable coffee cup you are saving 500 no-degradable from the side. Those cups take 50 years to break down.
3. REUSABLE BAGS
We threw away 5 TRILLION plastic bags PER YEAR
160,000 each second
700 per person
Less than 1%is recycled
Bags are made from polyethylene that takes centuries to break down. Bags go straight into the ocean where they break down into micro plastic and there are consumed by animals and humans.
4. REUSABLE STRAWS
We consume around 400 billion straws each year.
500 mil daily, and this small piece of plastic takes around 700 years to break down.
5. SECOND HAND
Fast fashion is the second biggest pollution on our planet.
80 billion pieces of clothing are produced every year.
Fashion brands coming with new clothing every week.
Workers working in bag conditions for a low price, sweatshops, child labor and abuse. I will write a whole separate post only on FAST FASHION.
Try your best to buy something that is already existing by buying second hand you are saving that piece of clothing of going into landfill or sitting on a surface for at least 200 years.
JUST BECAUSE FAST FASHION IS CHEAP SOMEONE SOMEWHERE IS PAYING FOR IT!
6. USE WHAT YOU HAVE
You don't have to be #sustainablegoals to start. Most of us get really overwhelmed and want to get rid of everything and buy all of these sustainable supplies we see online. But you can start small in just investing in a cheap toothbrush, you can use your mason jars for drinking water and storage for food, start composting at home, use plastic containers you already own and make some DIYs or store toys...
7. BE GRATEFUL FOR EVERY ANIMAL
We all work together and a little bee is helping us to survive and make a living. Stop treating animals like objects because they are alive and have feelings and are lovely and we need to appreciate them. They are affected by our waste and more of them are dead. Don't let our community of animals suffer and disappear.
