We used to have a system of making clothes, we used to have our style in dressing up in choosing our clothes. Today we produce over 100 billion items and 60% of clothes are plastic and it will take 200 years to biodegrade. We purchase over 80 billion pieces yearly. Every 10 minutes we throw away one trash truck of textile waste.
1. WHAT IS FAST FASHION?
Inexpensive clothing produced rapidly by mass-market retailers in response to the latest trends. Cheap and trendy clothes coming in and out of style.
COMPANIES: H&M, Zara, Uniqlo, Forever 21, Fashion Nova, Berishka, PULL&BEAR, Mango...
THE TRUE COST OF FAST FASHION
We are using more than 3000 liters of water to manufacture on the shirt. It is the second worlds biggest pollution and we are constantly throwing toxic substances into the water. These clothes are low quality in purpose to make us purchase more and feel we are out of trend.
Most of the clothing's ideas were stolen from popular and more expensive brands. But fast fashion makes those items cheap and fast so we can look exactly like our favorite idol. Fast fashion is responsible for 92 million of world waste.
POPULAR BRANDS
They are producing a shit thons of clothes because is profitable and cheap.

WHO MAKE MY CLOTHES?

There is a lot of slaves, child labor, more than 13 hours of working while they are physically abused and forced to work quicker.
-Rana Plaza is the biggest industrial disaster. Fast fashion building collapsed on April 24th, 2013.
1.134 people dyed and more than 2.500 were injured.
