So for the past two weeks, my ankles were so swollen to the point when I couldn't walk. My stomach hurt so baldly that I needed to take medicine for bloating.
But let me tell you it is going away, two weeks later I can finally walk normally, and I am not that bloated.
It is called EDEMA  and Water retention
Edema is swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in your body's tissues. Although edema can affect any part of your body, you may notice it more in your hands, arms, feet, ankles, and legs.

WHY IS THAT HAPPENING?
Your body was in a starvation mode and state for a long time. The time you went all in and started fueling your body with proper nutrition, your body is holding to extra water and keeping it at places he wants to protect. On your face to protect your brain, lower belly to protect your organs, your ankles to protect your bones.

HOW TO REDUCE SWOLLEN ANKLES?

I massage my ankles every night and morning. Stretch your ankles. Drinking water, taking a walk here and there and, keep eating and trusting the recovery process.

It is normal to be a bit bigger in your all in journey at some point, you just need to keep going and believe me your body will find its sweet spot.
